Traveling NINH BINH - North Vietnam Adventures Today

Traveling North Vietnam can be an intimidating thing to some, especially to all the American Viet kieus, but I highly recommend visiting neighboring cities from Hanoi, such as Ninh Binh. To get to Ninh Binh from Hanoi, just go to the Hanoi Bus Station and take a bus south to Ninh Binh, which is about three hours or so away. Then you can find a taxi and go to your hotel, which Ninh Binh is full of now. This is my third return trip to Ninh Binh and it still has a lot of tourist places of interests I haven't been able to see. In fact, this city is one of my favorites in all of North Vietnam. The scenery, the food, the landscape, and the experiences are plentiful here. You can enjoy spectacular limestone mountains at Tam Coc, sample some mountain goat meat, visit the Hang Mua, numerous caves, temples, ancient capital emperor homes, stone churches, and so much more from this special city that is definitely worth a visit. The goat meat restaurant is located across from the Ninh Binh Citadel or emperor's compound.
