Export markets are important for Montana’s small businesses, taking advantage of an international market consisting of 95% of the world’s consumers – 80% of the world’s buying power. Export markets hedge against domestic sales slumps and help companies grow and become more competitive in all their markets.  The Montana Department of Commerce's Export MT program provides export information, as well as technical and marketing assistance to Montana companies pursuing commercial opportunities. Export MT helps Montanans prosper by diversifying their customer base and increasing sales of Montana products and services. This webinar discussed the benefits of exporting, Export MT, technical assistance on international sales, and information on grants for foreign market promotions.  The speaker was Angelyn DeYoung, International Trade Manager from Montana Department of Commerce.
