My Brief Delta One Experience | SEA to AMS Airbus 330-300 | So Wonderful I Slept Through Most of It

Through a perfect storm of saved air miles, upgrades, and booking luck, my husband and I flew Delta One on our recent tip to Amsterdam. There, we met the Celebrity Apex for an amazing twelve day Scandinavia cruise. I've traveled across oceans, on flights that felt like human-pretzel-torture, with my knees near my ears and strangers leaning on me from not just the sides, but from in front of me and behind me as well. This was not that flight. This was actually the opposite of those flights. I may not ever be able to turn right again, and go into the torture seats willingly. Turning left was amazing. To be perfectly clear, this is not a tech review of the airplane or the seat -- or even really a very in-depth review of the service and the amenities. What I can tell you, with absolute certainty, is that if you're looking for a seat where you can sleep like a baby -- then this is it. As I've mentioned in other places, I'll never be a Sam Chui or Noel Phillips -- but if you want a true seat sleep score, I'm the girl to call. Delta One seat sleep score: 100/100 Fifty bonus points awarded because of the repeated prosecco refills by the attendants. (And for the record, as I drifted off I could hear my husband snoring in the seat in front of me.
