This video demonstrates how to adjust the travel of a sliding door and is part of a series of walk-in cooler door maintenance videos. Imperial Brown manufactures walk-in coolers and freezers, and cold storage doors, made to order for foodservice, retail, pharmaceutical, and industrial uses, with plants in the Midwest, East Coast, and West Coast of the United States. For this adjustment, you will use a power drill or driver with a #2 Phillips head bit. First, operate the door to reach the closed position and measure the distance the door needs to be adjusted. Now turn off the power to the door controller. Now the door is safe to work on. Use the power drill or driver and the #2 Phillips head bit to loosen the screws of the sensor bracket. Carefully move sensor bracket the distance previously measured. Note: The sensor bracket must be moved in the opposite direction of door travel in order to properly set the travel distance. Once the sensor bracket is in the adjusted location, tighten the screws using the power drill or driver to hold its position. Now turn the power back on at the controller and test cycle the door through its complete operation. You have completed this adjustment if the door successfully aligns to the gasket.
