Tecumseh engine 5.5 hp 195cc model LH195SP (HSSK55) Pristine Start and run

This is a 2006, 5.5 hp Tecumseh Horizontal engine model LH195SP also known as the HSSK55 (Horizontal small frame Snowking 5.5 hp) engine. It is 195cc. It is in excellent condition and was barely used. It has no rust. It starts on first pull nice and easy and runs great. It has a 3/4 wide shaft that is a total length of just under 3 inches. The shaft is tapped, it is stepped and has a key-way groove. The longer part of the shaft before it steps up toward the crank is 2,1/4 long. The shaft turns clockwise when standing in front of the engine flywheel (counter clockwise standing behind the engine facing the shaft). This engine is an all season engine it has the carb heater cover box for winter and it can have an air filter cover and air filter attached in place of the heater cover box for summer applications. Perfect for snowblower's, rototillers, all other summer machine's that use a horizontal engine and also perfect for mini bikes. This engine was for sale in the fall of 2016 and sold within one month for $180. Tecumseh Horizontal Snowking engines were known for there dependability and reliability and are still highly sought after now since the company had folded in December of 2008. These engine's will continue to rise in demand as well as their price as these engine's become harder and harder to come by. Regardless of anybodies individual opinion of Tecumseh, the fact is this. Tecumseh and their winter engines began being built in 1959. These Snowking engines were built from 1959-2008. The company produced snowking engines for a half century and they were used on 90% of snowblowers from 1959-2008. They were reliable, dependable, high quality engines that ran excellent, their was never any issue with any particular Horizontal Snowking engine built and no recalls. They debuted on the infamous Ariens Sno-Thro that was first released in 1960. Many, many Tecumseh winter engines that were produced in the 1960's are still running today and powering the snowblowers they were installed on. They were are and remain the best winter engine that was ever made and are still the first choice now for the engine most preferred on a Snowblower. No matter what anyone's individual opinion of Tecumseh is. These are the facts and those winter engines that were produced in the 60's still running and still powering the snowblowers today are a tribute to that fact and Tecumseh. Anyone who has something negative to say never operated a Tecumseh Snowking engine. Engine manual: http://www.barrettsmallengine.com/man...
