It’s like a caramel apple, but better… vvv click vvv You can be an apple dessert in the fall and you’ll love these chewy blondies! Blondies have the same texture as a brownie and these are full of big chunks of cinnamon apples and studded with toffee bits that will make you break all your diet promises! (Sorry not sorry…) This video version has no music, so you can just relax and enjoy! [Recipe in español - coming soon] -------------------------RECIPE:------------------------------ Please like & subscribe! :D apples: 2c apples (peel & chop) - cut big or small 1Tb maple syrup 2Tb dark brown sugar ½ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp salt batter: 2 1/3c (290g) flour 1 tsp cinnamon ½ tsp salt 1 ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp allspice 2 large eggs (room temperature) 1 ⅔c (330g) light brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract ¼ tsp almond extra 1c (2 sticks/230g) butter (make brown butter, then add to batter) 1c toffee chips Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350F (177C) & line 13x9 pan with parchment paper 2. Make brown butter: melt the butter over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, keep stirring, it should become golden brown and smell nutty. Remove from heat and let cool. 3. Cook apples: cook apples, 2 dark brown sugar and spices over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, then set aside. 4. Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl whisk the flour, spices and baking powder together. 5. Mix the wet ingredients: Mix together the eggs, light brown sugar, vanilla, almond extract and brown butter. 6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mix until combined. 7. Stir in the apples and toffee chips. (The batter will be THICK) 8. Spread into your pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. 9.
