A few days ago the clearing winds were whipping through town. Whitecaps to the horizon. Seasoned surfers knew the pattern and that a welcome shift in air and sea temps was upon us. The following morning would likely have visual remnants of the vicious chop and some of its bounce, but would be masked by the east winds that would clock around late that night and pull it all together again at dawn. Cold, crisp sunrise air could be felt before getting out of bed, a sign the board shorts would now stay the drawer and the 3mm Axxe wetsuits were requisite till next May. Probably add a hood in there soon enough, and booties at some point when venturing north. This raw little short is pretty much the entire few hours of that morning. No fancy editing, not a clip that has the best ever surfing but shares pretty much every bone chilling ride Lograp captured on this snappy morning.
