I use a finer finish for more power and less break-in miles. my race bike makes these cylinders look rough. the angle of the cross-hatch pattern is very important for the ring seal. I have been lowering my angles down the last few years because of the gas and oils used now. its hard to tell angles but I use about a 55deg 35deg combo. you have to look at the patterns in the videos to see what I am talking about. a good break-in oil will help the ring seal. it is hard to find the order of my videos on you tube. if you search for 88ci fxr in my channel you will get all the videos in one group. you can pick the number you want to watch by the video number. you can watch the play list also and see them all in order. thanks, tatro
