8th Pay Commission: One topic currently being hotly debated among central government employees is their dearness allowance (DA). Employees are constantly wondering how much the minimum basic salary could increase if the new pay commission is implemented. Based on past experience, after the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary was increased from ₹7,000 to ₹18,000.
