Taking forward the music that is the legacy and lifeblood of their community, SAZ is rediscovering traditional songs and writing and creating new ones too, now compiled into an album set to release soon. An original track from this upcoming album, this song speaks of a lover trying to win over an upset beloved, his Sundar Gori, by acknowledging and praising her innocence and beauty. SAZ: Sadiq Khan Langa, one of the finest players of the Dholak in Rajasthan; Asin Khan Langa, superb vocalist and a master of the Sindhi Sarangi unique to the Sarangiya Langa community that he comes from and recipient of an Aga Khan Music Award and the SNA Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2022); Zakir Khan Langa, Khartal player extraordinaire, young master of an instrument that is decieving in its simple appearance but demanding incredible agility of the fingers to master.
