Full story: https://mynbc15.com/news/local/neighb... "So, you guys had him built into your lives?" "Oh, yeah. Oh yeah, oh yeah." A man, who asks not to be shown on camera, holds a photograph of two-year-old Anthony Garcia Choc... taken at Bel Air Mall just hours before the little boy disappeared, along with his 17-year-old sister and his mother three weeks ago from their Theodore, Alabama home. It's a picture taken by the family's neighbors who, like many in the community, are baffled about what happened to them and why. "So, you really miss little Anthony?" "Oh, of course!" he says, his wife nodding in agreement. "I've got pictures of him from when he grew up, when his mom brought him home from the hospital to where he is right now." But where he is right now is a mystery that haunts this couple every minute of the day. Investigators say the family was last seen here around 3 p.m. on January 30th and were reported missing the next day. Inside the home, authorities found blood throughout the residence, cell phones and cash left behind, and a missing mattress and clothes hamper, signs that a struggle may have taken place. "It's very weird," he says. "It's sad. Every day we think about them. It's going on three weeks. Saturday morning, 7:30 will be three weeks since everything started." "You just can't help but think about them.," he adds. "We were around them nearly every day." And their photographs tell that story... pictures of happy times the family shared... with their mother, 40-year-old Aurelia Choc Cac, her 17-year-old daughter Niurka Zuleta Choc, and, of course, little Anthony... who loved to play soccer in the front yard of their home on Ben Hamilton Road. "We play soccer, we play soccer every afternoon. That was our thing." This couple says they appreciate the move Thursday by the FBI to post the family on the agency's missing person page, alongside a reward of $15 thousand for information leading to the location and/or recovery of the mom and her two children. For now, their picture has a place on that page right next to another mysterious disappearance that occurred about the same time... that of the Nancy Guthrie, mother of NBC' Today show host Samantha Guthrie, a case that shares the same feeling of helpless despair. "You try not to go to the dark side or the dark place about it, but the more time passes it makes it harder to do," he says And if the Choc family could somehow hear them right now? Their neighbors offer this message: "Reach out," says his wife. "Don't be afraid, you're not going to be deported. Sheriff Burch is there for you. Just reach out. Run, if you can." "We're very worried about you," her husband chimes in. " We care about you greatly. If we could do anything, anything, just let us know. Let us know."
