Back with another speedrun! As far as I can tell, this "category" doesn't really exist in any other form on leaderboards or the like, so I'm kinda just doing this for fun. This is the PC compilation of Super Mario 64, built using Render 96 and patched with PeachyPeach's fantastic mod, Odyssey Mario's Moveset. In this run, Render 96 is only responsible for the enemy and castle models and the blue pipe in the slide room - everything else is an achievement of the Odyssey Mario's Moveset mod! This run is SLOP! It's the first run of this I've ever completed and I forgot some little routing things, made a ton of mistakes, and just generally botched most of the movement. The ending gets a bit more solid, as you'll be able to tell, but I wasn't looking for a perfect run. Just a completed one to start. Without any deaths, which was relatively surprising. And now I have something to compare to! If you want to check out the mod, I'll leave links to it as well as resources on how to compile Super Mario 64 yourself for PC so you can play as well if you'd like! And if anyone feels like picking this speedrun up, please join me! I'm not a very good speedrunner in general. But specific to this game, I feel like I drastically underutilize Peach's Vibes powers and someone better at speedrunning could almost certainly route it better. For now, though, I think it's actually turned into a decent little route overall! Not perfect, but I don't think it's wholesale awful. Anyway, thanks for watching!
