To start off the day we spent some time in the Woodward Copper Barn and practiced several backflips on trampolines and into foam pits. Some of the biggest takeaways for me were to get a straight up pop and throw your head and shoulders straight back, spot your landing, and use your legs to control the speed of your rotation to bring your feet to the snow. At the end of the day it is a full commitment trick and you have to trust yourself and the prep you've done to be successful. No matter how many flips you've done into water or on tramps the first time on snow will be a little different, but I hope that this video helps you to stomp your first backflip!
