Filmed on 04/02/2025. On a roll for 2025 plus with all the changes that's been made for this year. So, the second outing takes us along the West Coast Mainline. Starting with the first of three stations of the day with Crewe. (Season 12 Episode 6) Even though the weather is dull, it won't hinder the progress of the action on what's happened during our stint. London North Western Railway has introduced a full timetable of brining back an every 30 minute service linking Birmingham New Street and Liverpool Lime Street all dominated by the class 350 Desiro fleet. This also means LNWR has cut back on their Crewe to Birmingham via Longport now only runs as far as Stafford. The first of the few class 350/2 have gone off lease to Rail Adventure with one based at Ardwick TMD. According to Rail Advent, Northern might have plans to use the 350/2 in the meantime once crew training begins. In the later stages of 2024, Avanti West Coast bid a farewell to their class 221 Super Voyager fleet to make way for the new built class 805 and 807 fleet. The 221 Super Voyagers will eventually all end up at Cross Country Trains prior to their major refurbishment plans with some working on short term loan to Grand Central Trains.
