Mamsa dhatu , muscular tissue is a very important tissue as per Ayurveda. We can help it with specific food. The video contains few simple recipes which can be followed at home . RECIPES Roasted dates- preparation time -5 min The recipe helps to use dates especially for muscle build up. Ingredients- 5 big dates खजूर 1 teaspoon cow ghee गाय का घी 1 teaspoon water chest nut flour सिंघाड़ा आटा Steps Deseed and cut the dates in small pieces Heat ghee on low flame Roast the water chest nut flour briefly Add the dates and roast briefly One can have 1-2 teaspoon of roasted dates followed with hot milk daily. Preferably at breakfast time Age - it can be given to kids above one year in quantity and frequency as per their liking. Tip - remaining can be stored in glass bottle. One can make more quantity and store for 7-8 days. -------------------------------------------------------------- Savoury chickpeas - preparation time -4 min ( soaking 8hrs plus cooking time 15/20 min is separate) Ingredients - for one person 1/2 bowl chickpeas चना / छोले soaked overnight in ample water. Cook with salt in the morning. Peanut oil -1.5 ts Mustard seeds - 1/2 ts Asafoetida -1/4th ts Red chilli flakes - 1/2 ts Curry leaves - 4-5 pcs Rock salt - as per taste As per need - fresh grated coconut , coriander , lemon juice Steps -Temper the chickpeas and add remaining things. Eat hot. Tip - can be planned as breakfast or tea time snacks 2-3 times a week. Age- can be planned for kids above 2 yrs, in quantity and frequency as per their digestion capacity. -------------------------------------------------------------- Savoury peanuts - preparation time -4 min ( soaking 1.5 hrs plus cooking time 10-15 min is separate) 3/4 th bowl peanuts सिंगदाना- soaked for 1-1.5 hrs in water. Cook with little salt. Rest all recipe same as above. Tip- quantity as per liking. it can be planned in kids tiffin as extra snacks or as breakfast or tea time snacks. Age- can be planned for kids above 2 yrs, in quantity as per their digestion capacity. -------------------------------------------------------------- Sattu flour - preparation time - 10 min Ingredients Chana dal (chickpea dal) चना दाल - 1 bowl Wheat गेहूँ- 1/2 bowl Barley जौ -1/4 bowl Roast all properly and grind to make a fine flour. Store the flour for future use. -------------------------------------------------------------- Sweet sattu - preparation time 2 min For one person - Heat one teaspoon of cow ghee on low flame Add 1 full spoon of sattu flour roast briefly. Add one cup of hot milk. Boil. Add 1-1.5 spoon of grated jaggery Once jaggery melts it’s ready. -------------------------------------------------------------- Salty sattu - preparation time -2 min For one person- Heat one teaspoon of cow ghee on low flame Add few pcs of diced green chilli . Roast briefly. Add 1 full spoon of sattu flour roast briefly. Add one cup of hot water. Boil. Add rock salt as per taste Add 1/2 cup of fresh buttermilk just before removing from burner. Tips-both recipes can be planned as breakfast or snacks 2-3 times a week.
