I finally returned to Taiwan after two years, and I’m taking you along on a special trip! We started our travel in Taiwan at Miaodong Night Market to grab my favorite oyster omelette—it’s the one thing I always have to eat when I’m back home. The next day, we headed deep into the mountains to Smangus, a sacred place for the Atayal people. We didn't manage to visit a lot of places in Taipei as we were working during the trip, but we spent a day in Jiufen, a village that looks just like "Spirited Away" in real life. We visited the famous A Mei Tea House to learn how to brew Alishan Oolong tea—a highly recommended experience.
