Day one of our Wales road trip, off to a flying start!

After a long but steady day cleaning and packing the van ready for our Wales road trip, and a 3.5 hour drive from Derby to Fairbourne, it was finally time to wet a line. The weather couldn't have been better, a warm summers day with clear blue skies and next to no wind. It was slow going at first, but as the sun set the estuary came alive with fish jumping all over. I even saw some dolphins out in to the bay, but unfortunately they were too far to be picked up on the GoPro. And to top all that, I managed to land my first ever Garfish and a few more after that.
