Jiang Wei is a lot better in this game, getting more wide swings in his moveset. He is a balanced character, despite usually being late to unlock. His moveset doesn't have many advanced techniques to it, so it can feel lacking on higher difficulties, but he's not bad in any way. He Fei is a very chaotic stage, where you will need to hold off the middle. You will want to make the middle as empty as possible so you can pull back and help Cao Cao's flanks. Going near Zhang Liao will cause a cutscene of him preparing for the ambush, when it triggers, it will also trigger Gan Ning's ambush. So if you aren't heading back to help Cao Cao, now is when you want to do it. Gan Ning is one of the most deadliest enemies in the game, especially on Very Hard where he has his 4th weapon, meaning higher Musou Charge for him. You will want to keep him juggled and only engage him on the ground when he is at low HP. His True Musou does less damage than regular musou so if you feel comfortable fighting him without juggling, now's your chance. Zhang Liao will stall Sun Quan for a time, but with no warning whatsoever, Sun Quan WILL charge straight for the main camp, that's where you drop everything and stop him. Cao Cao's reinforcements will help protect him, so as long as you hold off the enemy until then, Cao Cao should be safe.
