Shaykh Ibn Bâz: Yes, the slaughter of a woman is allowed if she is Muslim, jewish or christian. The slaughter of the Muslims, jews and christians is allowed if it is performed in accordance with the Sharî'ah regardless of whether they are men or women. The Prophet (sallâ Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam) was asked about it and approved of the woman's slaughter. Women and men have the same rulings, except for the differences where there is evidence. Thus, her slaughter is as that of the men.
