#BackToTheClinic In this Back to the Clinic session, Dr Alikhani discusses the Orthopedic treatment of an adult patient with a skeletal Class III jaw relation and lateral open bite malocclusion. This patient received previous orthodontic treatment that failed to establish a functional occlusion. Therefore, the patient was referred to CTOR Ortho (www.ctor.clinic) for non-surgical correction of the class III malloclusion . This patient skeletal problems and malocclusion were treated without surgery or dental extractions, using a customized mechanotherapy approach and tools developed at CTOR to stimulate maxillary anterior displacement and cortical drifting. At the end of treatment the malocclusion was corrected and a functional Class I occlusion established, without the need for extractions to camouflage the skeletal Class III discrepancy.
