Add 'Accents' in using the same method as any of the other instruments. The "Cartridge/Enter" key assumes the "Accent" when the 909 is playing in "Pattern Edit" mode. Hold down "Instrument Select" and the "Cartridge/Enter" key (located near the 'Master Volume' rotary knob. You can then 'roll in' the accent strength with the "Accent" rotary knob located upper far left, left of the 'Bass Drum' section. MIDI Triggering: Default MIDI Channel 10.
