Oregon Sea Grant is working with the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development to host a series of Lunch & Learn presentations to support the Oregon Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap process. The goal of these sessions is to connect roadmap participants with experts and provide them with information to better understand the different aspects of offshore wind energy development. This session on 10.16.2025 provided updates on California’s offshore wind planning, including fisheries engagement, environmental research & monitoring, and host community considerations. Oregon Sea Grant is a non-advocacy organization that provides neutral, science-based information about issues that are relevant to the Oregon coast.
