A Victorian / Edwardian-influenced wedding dress ('Sacre Coeur') and veil is modelled. A strapless evening gown ('Falbalas') in printed taffeta with two huge rosettes of fabric over the bust is seen next. Followed by another strapless evening dress ('Eugenie') in white tulle with short cape effect over the shoulders. (Fashions by Carven.) Intertitle reads: "LONDON". In the Bond Street hat shop of milliner Otto Lucas we see various shots of models Jill Briggs, Carol Luff and Veronica Fenn trying on hats. Jill tries on a Ballybuntle cloche with roses on it. Carol wears a black silk 'Guardsman' hat (looks like a massive pompom - great!). Veronica wears a flowered pillbox with veil. After putting their hats back on the stands they select more as commentator explains they are allowed to choose a hat each to keep as a holiday treat. Veronica wears a flowered cartwheel hat. Carol tries on a 'Gigi' sailor hat decorated with white roses. Jill wears a white and black spotted silk cloche trimmed with taffeta.
