Who Rescued Who? | Inspired by Real Life & Dog “Pick Their Owner” Events After watching several “Dog Picks Their New Owner” videos here on YouTube, I was deeply moved. There’s something powerful about watching a dog choose their person — especially when you can see that person might need rescuing just as much. Those videos inspired me to sit down and use Suno to create this song. The story in this song is a blend of real life and imagination. I watched a close friend go through the heartbreak of losing his longtime dog — the kind of loss that leaves a quiet house and a hole in your heart. It changed him. And I’ve also seen the expressions on the faces of people sitting in folding chairs at adoption events, hoping… but trying not to hope too much. This song is for them. If you haven’t seen the “Dog Picks Their Owner” videos I’m referring to, I highly recommend looking them up. They’re incredible to watch.
