Fukuoka's famous castle is the Fukuoka Castle Ruins, located in Maizuru Park, a large historical site with stone walls, moats, and turrets where the original castle stood, built by the Kuroda clan. While the main keep was never fully built or destroyed, its base serves as an observation deck, offering great city views. The park is popular for seasonal beauty, especially cherry blossoms, and visitors can see remnants of Japan's samurai past right in the city center. Fukuoka castle was built by Kuroda Nagamasa in the early 17th century, it was the largest castle in Kyushu during the Edo period, the castle tower base offers panoramic views of Fukuoka and Hakata Bay. Kokura Castle is located in Kitakyushu. This castle has a distinctive reconstructed main keep and beauty gardens, offering a more traditional castle experience. I do not own the two background music that I use in this video I created.
