Repair of Ultrasonic Cleaner Driver
The driver stage of the ultrasonic cleaner was damaged after some water got inside it then coated the whole inside of the casing and PCB with condensation. Even though it's not expensive to replace the challenge of repairing it for approx £5 was not to be ignored. The MOSFETS were identified as being broken so were replaced along with the potentially damaged driver chip and the failed inrush resistor. Another thing not mentioned was re-terminating the main wires to the transducer as they had become very corroded. I also drilled some ventilation holes in the base to try and prevent this build up of moisture and condensation from being a problem in the future. EDIT: I have no idea why the video does a 360 flip right in the middle.
