Kaamulan Park (often called the Kaamulan Grounds) is a major public park and events area within or beside the Bukidnon Provincial Capitol compound in Malaybalay City, the capital of Bukidnon in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. The park is best known as the main venue associated with Kaamulan, Bukidnon’s flagship indigenous cultural festival. The term Kaamulan comes from the Binukid root word amul meaning to gather, referring to a gathering held for a purpose (such as a ritual, thanksgiving, or community celebration). Kaamulan is widely recognized for highlighting the culture and traditions of Bukidnon’s major indigenous groups—commonly listed as the Bukidnon, Higaonon, Talaandig, Manobo, Matigsalug, Tigwahanon, and Umayamnon—through formal presentations, performances, and province-led programs. As a site, Kaamulan Park functions as a civic cultural space: it is used for provincial events and public gatherings and is commonly developed with heritage markers and cultural display elements (including traditional-house style structures in the park area) that reflect Bukidnon’s indigenous identity and provincial history.
