Singapore Iconic Marina - Helix Bridge, Merlion Park & MRT Tips!

On my second full day in Singapore, I headed to one of the city’s most iconic spots—Marina Bay! Known worldwide for its stunning modern skyline, seeing it up close was absolutely incredible. Starting from my hostel in Little India, I hopped on the MRT, which is super easy to use, especially with Apple Pay or Google Pay—just tap your phone at the barriers and go! My journey began near the floating Apple Store on the Marina, and from there, I made my way to the ArtScience Museum, shaped like a beautiful lotus flower. While I didn’t have time to explore inside, it was still an amazing sight. Next, I strolled along the Helix Bridge, designed to resemble a strand of DNA, with breathtaking views of the entire marina. The day ended at Merlion Park, where I took in the famous Merlion Statue (half lion, half fish)—a must-see selfie spot in Singapore! Despite the cloudy skies, it was a fantastic day of sightseeing.
