Lawlor with lyrics by James W. Blake, has been a favorite of mine ever since I discovered the chorus in an old sheet music book. I loved the melody so much that I decided to dive deeper and create a full-length barbershop quartet-style cover — my first time ever trying this genre! Since there wasn’t much harmony sheet music available online, I figured out many parts by ear and collaborated with a Fiverr arranger to bring it all together. To match the spirit of the song, I also experimented with a green screen backdrop featuring historic NYC, bringing the imagery to life in a fun new way.
