हर मोबाइल में Pre Install होगा सरकार का Sanchar Saathi App, Apple समेत सबको 90 दिन की डेडलाइन

The Indian government has directed all smartphone companies to pre-install the official cyber security app ‘Sanchar Saathi’ on every new device sold in the country. Users will not be able to delete or disable the app, and older phones will get it through software updates. Major brands like Apple, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi and others have been informed privately, according to a Reuters report. The government says the app is crucial to tackle rising cyber fraud, fake or duplicate IMEI numbers, and mobile theft. Launched on 17 January 2025, Sanchar Saathi has already helped recover over 7 lakh stolen phones, including 50,000 devices in October 2025 alone.
