The more I listen to this, the more I realize just how innovative it was. Ambient music of this style (using guitars with multiple effect pedals, which came to be known as "Frippertronics") is pretty common to find nowadays. But this was 1973 -- Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross were topping the Billboard charts. In the back rooms of the popular music scene, producer Brian Eno invited King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp to fool around with tape delay effect pedals. Over the course of three days, "(No Pussyfooting)" was the result, and the fact that it still holds up today is insanely impressive. Highly recommend. #youtubeshorts #youtubeshort #shorts #short
