ADA 2025 - We are joined by Dr Alice Cheng (University of Toronto, Toronto, CA) to discuss the clinical implications of STRIDE (NCT04560998). The placebo-controlled study investigated whether semaglutide with standard-of-care treatment has an effect on walking ability in patients with PAD and T2D. The primary outcome measure was the change in maximum walking distance on a constant load treadmill test from baseline to the end of treatment at week 52. Findings showed improved walking distance in patients treated with semaglutide compared to those who received placebo. Interview Questions: 1. What were the key findings from STRIDE? 2.
