A brand new model for 2023, the Epic World Cup cuts a striking, hardtail-like figure that immediately draws parallels with the Trek Supercaliber. Looks aside, the big news is that unlike the existing Epic (and every model since the Epic was launched back in 2002), this one doesn’t use a Brain damper to control its rear suspension. Instead it utilises an all-new shock with an innovative air spring that aims to provide a highly efficient pedalling platform while maintaining a clean, cable-free cockpit.
