“The Waterfall” 🇫🇯 Fiji Village life - Chilled afternoon in the village

Another slice of life in a Fijian Village… Chilled afternoon in the village, so we took the short trip riding the Cruiser 🤙🏻 a few km up the road to what the kids describe as their local “waterfall”. A special place where you can breathe in the waterfall as it creates a slight airpocket as the water lifts off the rocks…though after a few days of rain the river was noticably cooler! Later the bigger kids “damming” the river for a few seconds before releasing the full flow of water. I have been to some of the biggest, most spectacular waterfalls across Fiji but for these kids, these waterfalls are a perfect place to chill and play….then finishing off with more fresh ‘bu’ 🌴 Happy to let the kids run around with the GoPro on this and capture whatever they wanted 👍🏻 …then home, change and up to the minimart in Coqeloa for ice cream 😋 #fijianwaterfall #villagelife #realfiji
