Heart N Soul is a charity who believe in the power and talents of people with Learning Disabilities and Autistic people, based in Deptford South East London. ❓What is Allsorts ? Allsorts is Heart N Soul's taking part programme, The taking part programme is a regular series of days to try different creative activities , it's also a way for people with Learning Disabilities and Autistic people to spend time together in a space and supportive environment.This is important as social isolation is often experienced by people with Learning Disabilities / Autistic people, who may not be able to attend mainstream events without support, and may not be able to access support or support at the time the mainstream event is happening. Allsorts happens at the Albany Theatre in Deptford Lewisham . The activities are decided by a group of co producers and they invited Robyn's Rocket space pod to come to Allsorts. 🚀 What is Robyn's Rocket? Robyn's Rocket is a series of gigs that aim to be Inclusive Conscious which means 1 to think who is not in a space, 2 invite them in , 3 ask for feedback and do the feedback ( when possible) It's not just about access to spaces for disabled people but for anyone who might not normally feel welcome for example because of age, gender or caring responsibilities. The gigs are designed with access in mind, not to be perfect but to try and meet as many people's needs as possible, since 2019 Robyn's Rocket has been at Cafe OTO in Dalston East London , Since 2021 most of the gigs have been streamed . In 2026 Robyn's Rocket will have gigs at The Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room , Fabric and Cafe OTO. 🛸 What is the space pod? The space pod was developed as a way of creating a more portable flexible space that could be host to jams, workshops a backdrop to a gig or a space to relax in at a festival . It was developed during a residency at the LEVEL centre in Derbyshire who kindly funded the Research and Development work up to this point .
