On this trip through Mangalore roads we continue our journey from Adyapady to Kolambe proper via Kandavara. There are three viewpoints along the route including one at Adyapady and Kolambe and Bridge Point near Kandavara. We proceed along the concrete road towards Kanadavara. En route a road leads towards RHS to connect with Adyapady dam. Personally I've never been along the route but Google Maps sure assures me that the route is right. We then travel past Adyapady Durga Parameshwari temple and after a little while take the road going towards the right. If however, were we to proceed straight up hill, then we will reach near the old mangalore airport. We then reach Bridge Point along our route to Kandavara. it is a quite serene place with possibly a storm drain flowing beneath the bridge. The width of the bridge enough for one to park a car and enjoy the greenery around without causing any obstruction for traffic flow which in itself is very sparse. I'm sure the area must look quite extra attractive during the monsoon season. We continue our journey via Kandavara branch post office and go uphill towards Kolambe. There is a viewpoint along the route to Kolambe , just beside the narrow road. It is a bit of a precarious position to stand and view the landscape but its worth a try. However, i did find many discarded bottles of alcoholic beverages there so you might need to be careful while visiting the place. This vlog gives information concerning prominent location along Adyapady to Kolambe including, Mary help of Christians Church at Adyapady, Adyapady viewpoint, Way to Adyapady dam, Adyapady Durga Parameshwari temple, Way to Mangalore old airport, Bridge point, Kandavara, Kandavar branch post office, Kolambe viewpoint and Kolambe proper.
