The Total Archery Challenge (TAC) 2025 in Tennessee, held at the scenic Circle E Guest Ranch in Belvidere from May 2–4, was a thrilling convergence of archery enthusiasts from all walks of life. This year’s event was particularly electrifying, thanks to the much-anticipated showdown between the enigmatic “Crossbow King” and a formidable team of compound bow hunters from Revive Outdoors! The Ultimate Showdown: Crossbow King vs. Compound Bow Hunters While TAC is primarily a non-competitive event designed to test individual skills and provide a fun experience for all participants , the 2025 Tennessee event featured a friendly rivalry that captured everyone's attention. The "Crossbow King," a seasoned archer known for his precision and speed, faced off against a team of skilled compound bow hunters. This informal competition added an extra layer of excitement to the event, showcasing the diverse talents within the archery community. Event Highlights Diverse Courses: Participants navigated over 100 3D targets spread across multiple courses, including the challenging Prime Course with steep angles and long-distance shots, and the Sitka Course featuring targets at 60–100 yards. Both Friday and Saturday's Events were filled with rain downpours and thunderstorms. Family-Friendly Activities: The event catered to all ages, offering a stationary kids' range with fun targets like dinosaurs and zombies, ensuring that even the youngest archers had a memorable experience. Vendor Village: Attendees explored the latest in archery gear, apparel, and accessories, with opportunities to test products and engage with industry experts. Novelty Shots: Participants tried their luck at specialty shots, including the chance to win a fully equipped TAC truck by hitting a 12-ring at 111 yards—a true test of skill and nerve. Camping and Community Many attendees embraced the full outdoor experience by camping on-site, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Evenings were filled with shared stories, laughter, and the forging of new friendships, embodying the spirit of the archery community. The 2025 Total Archery Challenge in Tennessee was more than just an archery event; it was a celebration of skill, sportsmanship, and community.
