The Friday 30 | Art with Tammy Jade Welcome to The Friday 30, I`m Tammy Jade and I run my little art business Dusty Gypsy Studio. Id like to invite you to a cosy art practice where we spend 30 minutes playing with our art supplies, with no pressure and no expectations. In this session, I’m painting a small mixed media artwork of a little frog drifting down the page, holding an umbrella, with storm clouds gathering behind him. This series is about showing up, experimenting, and seeing what happens when we give ourselves permission to just make. The goal of The Friday 30 is simple: ✨ Set aside 30 minutes ✨ Use what you already have ✨ Let go of comparison ✨ Be kind to yourself You don’t need the same supplies as me. I really encourage you to pick just a few colours, get to know how they mix, and explore different textures and marks. There’s no right or wrong outcome here. Most of all, have fun. If you’d like to paint along, the line drawing from this session will be available on my Buy Me a Coffee page: 👉 https://www.buymeacoffee.com/TammyJad... My website https://www.dustygypsy.com.au Materials I used Cold press watercolour paper Watercolour paints Alizarin Crimson Yellow Gold Deep Manganese Blue Ultramarine Blue Payne’s Grey White gouache White Posca pen Masking fluid And an assortment of brushes 🌿 About this series The Friday 30 is a slow, cosy painting practice inspired by play, curiosity, and letting go of perfection. New sessions are shared every couple of weeks, allowing space for work, life, and rest, because art should support your life, not compete with it. Thank you for being here. However you create today, I hope you’re gentle with yourself. Tammy Jade
