In this video, we explore the Reduce Selection Tools group in the BIM-Pars Toolbox tab; a collection of tools that help you refine your current selection in Revit by removing elements based on specific criteria. These tools never modify or delete elements; they only adjust the active selection set. You’ll learn how to use all four tools in this group: 🔹 Reduce Selection by ID: Exclude specific elements from your selection by entering their Element IDs. 🔹 Reduce Selection by OST Categories: Remove elements belonging to selected Revit categories. 🔹 Reduce Selection by Searching Value of Instance Parameters: Filter out elements that contain a certain parameter and value. 🔹 Reduce Selection by Existence of Parameters Values: Exclude elements depending on whether a parameter exists, has a value, or is empty.
