Hoyoverse, also known as miHoYo Co., Ltd., is a Shanghai, China-based developer and publisher of video games. The firm has produced a wide range of items in addition to video games, including animated television programmes, books, comics, toys, and music. Three Shanghai Jiao Tong University computer science students named Cai "Hugh" Haoyu, Liu "Forrest" Wei, and Luo Yuhao, who were interested in technology and ACG (anime, comics, and games) culture, founded miHoYo. The three collaborated on projects before choosing the name miHoYo.
