Just about to start a New Project (Part 1) (and represents how i did it on my specific size conservatory, so it's just a how i did it and not a how to video) something completely different from my usual Projects. I HAVE BEEN ASKED THIS NUMEROUS TIMES YOU WILL NEED BUILDING REGS PERMISSION. it's straight forward if you adhere to the relevant specs, if you have to get it retrospectively it will cost you more but as long as you don't cut corners should be no problem. NOTE: Misprint on my specification sheet U value of 0.18 W/m2K should have said 0.15 W/m2K & the osb board was 18mm #conservatory #roof #roofing 3 Years Update here: • DIY Conservatory Warm Roof Update 3 Years On Part 1 Materials & Exterior Work Old Aluminium and Polycarbonate Off New wooden roof beam structure On Roofing Felt Light weight tiles etc'etc Fully Vented Hints & Tips Testing in Thunderstorm Part 2 Interior Full 5" (125mm) Insulation Includes Kingspan Slab insulation Thermal Quilt Fully Vented Interior wooden Laths Light weight UPVC Panelled Interior Ancillaries replaced Hints & Tips Conclusion Note i am no expert just a keen DIY'er, this shows how i went about it, so if any doubt consult an expert, especially if your conservatory is in anyway different to mine. Don't forget you will need Building Regs for this work
