Shadow stats: Max Health: 120 HP Handling: 105 Turning: 75 Acceleration: 6 Top Speed (Turbo): 112 MPH (149 MPH) Special Weapon Damage: 7-20 (42 on air hit) Max Specials Stored: 5 Special Regen Time: 18 seconds Shadow is probably my favorite of TM2's new cars, partly because goth girls love hearses, but also because he introduces one of my favorite weapons in the series: a lobbed AOE bomb, in the Shadow Bomb. The TM2 version of the Shadow Bomb travels slowly, slow enough that Shadow himself can keep pace with it. But it rewards precision, launches enemies caught in the blast into the air for some crowd control, and it rewards successive bombs by doing maximum damage when detonated on an opponent in the air. Though the bomb is glitched; Cars on a slope are considered both grounded and airborne at the same time, which means bombs always do max damage on grounded cars on slopes. This makes Shadow extremely deadly on maps such as Los Angeles, Moscow, and Amazonia, where slopes are common. Also fun fact: Remote bombs work exactly the same way as Shadow Bombs. That said, while Shadow is a strong car, I think he's a little off from being one of the game's strongest. He's not especially good at dodging, on account of his average speed, long body, and mediocre handling and acceleration. As I said, I love Shadow, and I think this is one of my favorite cars TM2 added to the series, as well as one of my favorite cars in the whole series. The combo-ability and crowd control of the Shadow Bomb, as well as the car's aesthetics means Shadow's earned a place in my heart. Played on Medium difficulty, because while you can save and reload your game in this version, reloading a file doesn't remember your inventory, and I didn't feel like pistol starting every level. Trying to go deathless but not restarting if I do die. Not getting a Game Over is fine here. Also using custom car skins, and custom graphics for some levels. Also using a fix for the shield (PC version has shield last 10 seconds as opposed to PS1's 4-5 second shield) as well as a modified version of Antarctica where the chunks don't fall. These are options in the TM2 launcher and can be toggled. 0:00 Shadow 0:22 Los Angeles 3:21 Moscow 6:14 Paris 10:40 Amazonia 13:52 Minion 15:58 New York 19:42 Antarctica 24:17 Holland 27:56 Hong Kong 32:26 Dark Tooth 34:15 Ending
