Kasokoso land dispute - Families seek government intervention through the land fund

Over 200,000 families and businesses on Kasokoso land in Wakiso District are being threatened with eviction. They are now requesting government support through the land fund to help them acquire the land where they have lived for decades. The affected families and businesses in Acholi Quarters, Bbanda “B”, Kireka “D” Kiganda, and Kasokoso villages are facing eviction threats from the National Housing Cooperation and Kireka Estates since 2014.
