Catching Sharks with a Drone on Fraser Island It was the last day of our week on Fraser Island and the winds eased enough to allow us to go Drone fishing. Hadi had a huge goal to catch a shark and in the weeks leading up to our trip bought some new gear to set himself up to be prepared for the opportunity. Our Drone is a Mavic Pro Platinum and we use the specially designed Gannet Bait release made in South Africa. For bait we used a Tailor fillet. The first release we went approx. 120 metres and this was our second attempt. Our furthest release on the day was 250 metres.
