Class of 09 has a realistic fiction setting in the late 2000's with the entire series spanning the years 2006 to 2009 following the High school girl Nicole a narcissist, a sociopath and manipulator(Her words not mine), and her antics/adventures with her friend Jecka as they fend off their would be courters as well as generally attempting to succeed and make it through the rest of high school around other students. These characters include Kylar, Jeffrey, Crispin, Hunter, Kelly, Ari, Megan, Karen, Mr Burleday, Mr Lorre, Mr Katz, Principal Lynn, The Counselor, Mrs Ames, Coach Colby, and more. The game once again is a parody of the average dating sim but also is a satire and overexaggeration on other vices and social issues including that of modern day issues. The game garnered a large fanbase later on after its initial discovery due to its unique spin on the whole dating sim drama and how in its infinity of edgy over the top jokes also provided some interesting commentary on social issues. Due to this and its anime-esque style, it was then kickstarted to potentially run an animated series which so far has reached its goal in releasing the Pilot episode. This theory is largely meant to give people who were dissapointed in the series finale of the game some closure as well as help potentially theorize on what we could expect from the animated show.
