Coasting Down a Snowy Mountain in a Geared Locomotive | Roblox Beansburg Narrow Gauge Railway

Back in January 23, Beansburg introduced a new update for the first time since September 2025, and this update was a major update, as they added a map expansion with a new Norwood map with a snowy mountain and new locomotives like the 4-8-0 rotary snowplow locomotive, the 2-10-0 snowplow locomotive, and red and black diesel locomotives. Trains can also easily coast down the mountain at high speed, except the handcart. Anyways, I thought I'd do a video where'd I coast down the snowy mountain with a Class D Shay locomotive! Geared steam locomotives, such as Shays, Heislers, and Climaxes typically cannot freewheel due to their gearing, their pistons must move in order to roll the wheels. But since Roblox has different physics compared to real life, the Shay locomotives are able to freewheel down the mountain in this game! Enjoy me coasting down the mountain with a Class D Shay locomotive, an 8-axle flatbed, and a caboose!
