SHIP DESCRIPTION The arms race across the Settled Systems is accelerating. Heavy weapons and tools manufacturer Arc Might recently expanded its manufacturing footprint on Gagarin—prompting rival firm Allied Armaments to follow suit. As Allied Armaments continues to secure major contracts across the United Colonies, the need for a dedicated shuttle to move weapons and raw materials between foundries, research sites, and distribution hubs became a strategic priority. To address this growing need, Allied Armaments commissioned Lindan Engineering Corporation to develop a new class of industrial shuttle purpose-built for secure, high-volume transfers. LEC, in turn, entered a rare joint development agreement with Sienar Fleet Systems—an established propulsion and starship manufacturer based in the Lothal System. The result was the ZT-4 Heavy Shuttle, a rugged multi-role transport engineered for resilience, security, and sustained throughput. Its distinctive quad-wing design allows the wings to fold upward while landed for compact storage, and extend outward in flight to stabilize atmospheric re-entry and maximize solar intake. Each wing is lined with solar radiation collector cells that feed power into the shuttle’s TIG R510 Reactor and GD65 Grav Drive, granting impressive range and autonomy. Given the high value of its cargo, the ZT-4 was designed with frontline defense in mind. Standard configurations include three RC-30 Railcaster Remote Turrets, dual KX-7 Laser Cannons, and twin T-65 Proton Torpedo Launchers—supported by a T90 Shield array augmented with a MIIF-class booster for added resilience in hostile sectors. Propelled by Sienar’s A-Tech sublight engines, the ZT-4 delivers class-leading maneuverability and performance—making it one of the most capable and well-defended transport shuttles in service today.
