In this tutorial we explain the process of modifying a CopyCat silicone lifecast mold for pouring a 5110F silicone pattern. We then used the silicone pattern to make an ArtKast White resin mold. The final negative resin mold can now be used to cast 5110F or 5130F silicone positives backed with Prop Foam 4 flexible foam. We used ArtKast resin for this mold as it is fast and easy to thicken with Poly Fiber...it is also compatible. Make sure all the materials you use for a process like this are compatible or there will be severe and profound sadness!!!
