(1/3) Gather 'round the fire everyone, it's story time! For those who don't know about the elusive Schick Pack, there was a promotion in 2011 with Rock Band and (of all things) Schick Razors where if you got a certain razor pack, you would get a 3-pack of three RBN songs that got pro-upgrades sanctioned by Harmonix. There was of course no reason for anyone to go out of their way to get this pack since a) pro guitar wasn't really a thing for most players, especially with Rocksmith on the horizon at the time b) the songs were already readily available for cheaper ($1 each vs $10 razor pack) c) the songs were unknown to the general public (some would also argue they're bad but tbh I like them) d) it's a weird promotion. The promotion expired probably a year or two later to no fanfare. So anyone who didn't get it in 2011 couldn't get it at all. Oh well. But... Fast forward to 2018 and everything that was officially sanctioned by Harmonix in past has been slowly making their way to RB4... including the Schick pack. People who once bought the song on RBN no longer had the song now and it was upsetting to the hardcore bunch and people who have been purchasing official songs from the store since day one. As far as I'm aware of, the leaderboards to these songs have less than 50 unique players total across both XB1 and PS4 to this day. Will we see these songs available for purchase in the future? Probably not since licensing it would be more hassle than it's worth apparently. Skip ahead one more year into the future to one week ago and we finally got a group together to do this all locally since it was near impossible to find 4, let alone 2, people who owned this pack willing to fub it. Heck, the person we got this from wasn't even here! Thank you mystery donater, it's very appreciated 👀 but we finally got it done and filled that appetite right up!
