PlanetSide 2 is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online first-person shooter developed by Rogue Planet Games and published by Daybreak Game Company. The game supports battles with thousands of players (up to 2,000 on a single map) and incorporates modern first-person shooter mechanics. Six different infantry classes and over 18 ground and air vehicles are available to players and interact on the battlefield to simulate combined arms warfare. As a "re-imagining" of PlanetSide, PlanetSide 2 chronicles the efforts of three factions fighting for territorial control of the planet Auraxis. Along with its prequel, PlanetSide 2 is one of the very few massively multiplayer online first-person shooters to have ever released, and is presently considered one of the most successful titles in the genre. Infiltrator Infiltrators, as part of their classes' niche, have the most numerous and most effective ways of cloaking. All three of their class abilities allow the Infiltrator to cloak, with varying benefits and disadvantages compared to eachother. -Hunter Cloaking Device — The most versatile infiltrator cloak. It has good recharge time and duration, though provides no other benefits. -Nano-Armor Cloaking — The combat infiltrator cloak. Duration is shorter and recharge time is longer, though the infiltrator is far stronger in direct combat as well as tankier when cloaked. -Stalker Cloak — The slow-paced infiltrator cloak. Duration is potentially infinite, as recharge time continues when cloaked if stationary, however the infiltrator becomes far weaker in direct combat as they lose their primary weapon.
